If any of you visited Keukenhof in Netherland during April, then certainly they were fascinated about the coloured flower–mix: millions of tulips, daffodils, crocus and hyacinth blooming at the same time and the flowers bought joy into the visitors’ hearts by the variety of their colours. We had the same experience on our first visit in 1996. Then we started thinking about the possibility of creating such a miraculous garden for us. Although this question seemed to be easy, the answer came only in 2001, when we planted 3.000 bulbs of tulips, daffodils and hyacinth in our garden.

Thanks to our carefulness for flowers and flowering bulbs we opened this flowering bulbs-web-shop in 2002 to colour the world of Hungarian online market at the same time. The important purposes of this site are to make the flowering bulbs well-known, to increase their popularity and to help the beginner or advanced gardeners how to treat the special kinds of bulbs. Besides the modernity we try to give simple descriptions and use high quality photos to help understand them easily. We hope that our work will have a greater impact on flowering bulbs gardening and especially on tulips here in Hungary to popularize them in ordinary gardens.

Our company organized the first Tulip Festival in the arboretum of the former Horticultural University in 2004. It was a cultural, artistical and at the same time floriculture event with 5300 visitors. The festival’s mission was meant to popularize tulips and flowers that are parts of our traditional and cultural treasure.

Every year we donate flowering bulbs to institutions sheltering the elderly and the handicapped. Seeing those people how joyfully they plant and care for the flowers fulfill our days with the beauty of life.

We live according to the environmental management (selective gathering, judicious consume of energy, nature and environment protection). We also try to be thankful to the Earth, which gives us this beauty of the living and inanimate nature. Since 2011 we have been using degradable bags for storing the bulbs. We cannot experience the quality and beauty of our lives without the nature’s grace. The flowers have become inevitable participants in our lives, as their perfume, colours and amazing diversity are parts of the nature. We become really disappointed whenever we can see the multitude of spoilage in the forests and destroying the nature. Should the nature deserve it when everything we own comes from IT? We have only one Earth and the mankind’s common duty is to protect it.

According to the proverb,” those who love the flowers cannot be evil people”. If we want the flowers to be inherited by our descendants, then we should keep our environment clean and nice!
